You know how it is. LL couldn't live without his radio. I couldn't live without the blog. This clip's from Krush Groove (1985). Another old school classic that adds more weight to the theory that hip hop as a reactionary force, a brightly shining musical light, and, lest we forget, an educational tool, has, in 2008, gone the way of the dinosaurs.

I have that on a 7" and swear by it. His first album Radio is an underrated Rick Rubin-produced classic, from back in the day when - I think - no one cussed in songs. Would have liked to take Radio into work to play today but couldn't be completely sure he doesn't let something unsavoury slip out. Yeah. Radio. I got Rock the Bells on single too, El Shabazz on the flip.
